If you need sound recording in Edinburgh, we here at Old Mill Recording Studios are here to provide you with a range of services to help, we are situated in a 17th century mill converted into a live arts theatre in Strathaven, just outside of Glasgow.
We are a high-end recording studio that integrates vintage analogue equipment and instruments with modern digital recording systems. The studio offers the relaxed and inspiring environment of the old mill featuring the original stonework and high quality acoustics of this historic building.
What We Provide
Our recording studios in Edinburgh are here to offer you a range of services of the highest quality. Out dedication to professionalism means we have obtained some of the best equipment all available at highly rates. We are highly affordable and competitive in price:
- £200 per 10hr day
- £555 for a 3 day recording block
- £900 for a 5 day recording block
- Normal rate: £25 per hour for recording
As well as a recording studio, we also offer you rehearsal rooms and the perfect place for new bands and artists to host there first few gigs. We have a centre stage surrounded by fixed seating for all your guests and fans.
Professional and Experienced
Over the years we have seen many band come and go and have had some well known bands and artists record and play at our venue such as such as De Rosa, Foxface, Steve Adey, Drive by Argument, Kobai, Nacional and Saint Judes Infirmary. We are here to help you whenever you need us. We are an in an ideal local situated next to an old castle on the edge of the town. It is however, only two minutes walk from the town centre and across the road from a snooker/pool hall and free car parking.
